Matt is the son of a geotechnical engineer he calls “dad” and an energetic Italian woman he calls “mom.” Interestingly enough, both have provided skillsets that have been critically important throughout his career. Whether it was his father’s work ethic and “stay the course” attitude or his mother’s ability to command a room and get things done, he often utilizes his upbringing as a guide in life and in work.
He grew up working on the back of drill rigs, in a soils lab, and on construction sites across the Southeast. With a background in architecture, engineering, and construction, Matt has a diverse set of skills associated with construction and management. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a B.S. degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. He is uniquely equipped to manage the day to day operations.
Matt is married to his amazing wife (if you don’t believe him, ask him to tell you the story about her donating her kidney to his brother!), Ashley, and together they have three wonderful girls. He’s an elder at Christ the Redeemer Church of Marietta. He’s an avid (although struggling) golfer and loves to spend time on the golf course and with his family.
